I am the mother of a toddler, a certified mediator, and a former ESL tutor with Project Literacy. After working as a software engineer for several years, I attended Harvard Law school and currently work at a Boston law firm representing nonprofits and technology startup companies. I have lived in Watertown since 2003. Click here for my resume.

Our public library is a tremendous resource. The Library Trustees represent the people of Watertown, ensuring that our taxpayer dollars are being used effectively to address the needs of our community.

As a mother, I will be a needed voice for children and families on the Board of Trustees.

As a mediator, I am trained in conflict resolution. Everyone has different ideas about how the library should run. I am committed to hearing the concerns of each group, and working to reconcile and address those concerns.

My background in law and technology gives me the tools to understand a wide range of issues facing the library.

As a Trustee, I will be a responsible steward for the library. I will advocate for the library with the Town Council and with the state legislature. I will ensure that the library works effectively with and for local organizations and residents.

Most of all, I will listen to the people of Watertown and work to meet their needs. What are your ideas?
